[Financial News] Hyundai Elevator Co., Ltd. has earned recognition for its safety and health management capabilities, securing top ratings in succession from two of South Korea's major safety management assessment agencies.
Hyundai Elevator Co., Ltd. said on the 29th that it recently received the top rating, 'SA1,' in the Construction Safety Management Assessment conducted by NICE D&B, a specialized corporate evaluation agency.
The Construction Safety Management Assessment is a key indicator used to evaluate a company's safety and health management capabilities when construction firms assess its eligibility to register as a partner company or participate in a bid. Reflecting the characteristics of the construction industry, it comprehensively evaluates companies' safety management systems and assigns ratings across seven levels, from SA1 to SA7. The top rating, SA1, signifies that a company's capabilities in establishing and operating a safety and health management system are among the industry's best.
Last March, Hyundai Elevator Co., Ltd. also received the top rating, 'SH1,' in eCredible's Safety and Health (SH) assessment. It has now secured top ratings from both of the two domestic specialist agencies, which apply different assessment criteria. The company expects the results of this assessment to serve as an objective indicator demonstrating its safety management capabilities to project owners and clients.
Hyundai Elevator Co., Ltd. is also strengthening its workplace-focused efforts to prevent industrial accidents among its employees and partner companies. Last March, it held a safety pledge rally at its Chungju Smart Campus, sharing accident prevention measures and safety management standards. Since April, it has been working with partner companies and relevant organizations to establish a joint safety management system through its 'Mutual Cooperation Program for Large and Small Businesses.'
The company plans to expand its prevention-focused workplace inspections and tailored safety management. A Hyundai Elevator Co., Ltd. official said, "Safety is the top priority in corporate management and a fundamental principle that can never be compromised. We will continue to strengthen our systematic safety management system and foster a culture of shared safety in which both our employees and partner companies can work with peace of mind."
