According to industry sources on the 29th, Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, has revamped the “Baemin Order Reception PC” so merchants on the platform can use all the features of “Baemin Self-Service” through it.
With the revamp, merchants can immediately view store performance metrics—including counts of new and repeat orders, customer review statistics and settlement details—on the Order Reception PC home screen. The newly added “Our Store Now (NOW)” and “Business Status” buttons let them check the operating status of each store and, if necessary, temporarily suspend operations at multiple stores at once.
Customer service tasks will also be easier. Through the “Customer Service” button on the Order Reception PC, merchants can directly check rider dispatch and pickup status, request order cancellations and apply for reimbursement of losses, among other tasks, without speaking to an agent. A card-style list view will also be added, allowing them to view and process multiple orders as cards. New features will also let them freely enter customer notices on receipts and place test orders to try out the actual order-processing sequence in advance.
The settlement details screen will also be improved. Previously, earnings and expenses were shown together by order type, making it difficult to distinguish deposit amounts from expenditure items. Going forward, sales, expenses and deposit amounts will be displayed in that order. The top of the screen will show a summary of deposit amounts and key expense items, while discount and marketing costs will be broken down into Baemin subsidies and amounts paid by merchants. Detailed information will also be available separately for sales and expenses.
The revamped Order Reception PC features will be rolled out by device starting November 18. Improvements to the settlement details screen are scheduled to roll out in stages, starting in Seoul on November 4.
