[Financial News] D’LIVE TV is moving to exchange content with SCTV, Vietnam’s largest cable TV operator. It plans to expand the foundation for D’LIVE TV content’s overseas expansion by pursuing content distribution through local platforms and co-productions.
D’LIVE TV said on the 29th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) centered on content exchange with SCTV (Saigontourist Cable Television), Vietnam’s cable TV operator with the largest share of subscribers.
Under the agreement, the two sides will draw on their broadcasting production capabilities and platforms to continue cooperating in various areas, including content distribution and co-production. They also plan to discuss direct forms of exchange, such as sharing content and reciprocal programming.
SCTV is a broadcasting and telecommunications company established as a joint venture between Vietnam’s state broadcaster VTV and the state-owned tourism company Saigontourist. It operates cable TV and fixed-line internet services, as well as its own broadcast channels and an online video streaming (OTT) platform.
The agreement between D’LIVE TV and SCTV was signed at the 2026 Vietnam K-Content Expo, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from the 20th to the 22nd. The event, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), brought together 45 South Korean content companies and 163 major media and content companies from Southeast Asia.
At the expo, D’LIVE TV held 32 business meetings with local companies, including SCTV. The event supports the overseas expansion and exports of South Korean content companies, and D’LIVE TV explored opportunities to cooperate with local businesses there.
Yoon Byeong-seon, head of production at D’LIVE TV, said, “Our MOU with SCTV has laid the groundwork for cooperation to promote the exchange of broadcasting content between Korea and Vietnam.” He added, “We will continue to expand and strengthen our partnerships with a range of global media and content businesses, broadening the reach of D’LIVE TV content overseas.”
