According to industry sources on the 28th, NS Home Shopping wrapped up the activities of its “2026 NS Skinship Supporters” program and held a completion ceremony on the 27th. The program ran for about three months from August 11 and included customers in their 50s to 70s, a key consumer group for NS Home Shopping, and product planners (PDs) in their 20s and 30s.
NS Home Shopping surveyed participants on their product-use experiences, the criteria they use to make purchasing decisions, and inconveniences they encounter during the purchasing process through six regular meetings and in-depth interviews. It produced 15 pieces of content based on the findings and used 14 of them in actual broadcasts.
Sales of some products improved in broadcasts that incorporated customer feedback. The sales performance of the “Ilwol Heated Blanket” against its target was about 30% higher than in the previous broadcast, while the “Happycall Frying Pan” improved by 17% compared with the previous broadcast. Sales of “Sunsu Hair Dye” rose about 10% compared with an earlier broadcast in the same time slot.
Customers’ firsthand experiences were also incorporated into the broadcast content. A broadcast featuring the “Lampcook Press Pan” introduced cooking videos made by supporters themselves and tips on how to use it. Broadcasts featuring the “Magicpure Water Purifier Showerhead” and “Leaders Eye Bag Cream” included demonstrations and usage instructions informed by customer feedback.
NS Home Shopping plans to use the customer feedback and analysis gathered through the program in future broadcast planning. Cho Hang-mok, CEO of NS Home Shopping, said, “Listening to customers is an important process for understanding the value they want and strengthening a company’s competitiveness. This supporters program showed that customers’ experiences and opinions can bring about changes in actual broadcasts and also lead to sales results.”
