Hyundai Motor Securities provided event materials without paper and made its souvenirs from materials certified for sustainable forest management. Bae Hyung-geun said, "With the implementation of the fourth planning period having significantly changed the emissions allowance market environment, I hope the policy direction and market outlook shared at this seminar will be of practical help to companies as they develop their response strategies."
Meanwhile, during the fourth planning period of the greenhouse gas emissions trading scheme, which runs from this year through 2030, the share of allowances allocated for a fee will gradually increase. The government plans to overhaul the allocation method and market operating system to encourage companies to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
