Haenam County offers up to 18% off Haenam Love Gift Certificates in conjunction with Korea Grand Festival

【Financial News Haenam = Hwang Tae-jong, reporter】Haenam County will offer up to 18% off Haenam Love Gift Certificates in conjunction with the “2026 Korea Grand Festival.”
 The Korea Grand Festival is a nationwide, large-scale consumer festival that brings together discount events run by individual government ministries to boost domestic demand and revitalize local businesses. It will run for 18 days, from the 29th through November 15.
 According to Haenam County on the 28th, users of the Haenam Love Card and QR gift certificates will receive an additional 5% cashback during the “2026 Korea Grand Festival,” running from the 29th through November 15. This additional cashback is offered on top of the existing cashback on 3% of card and QR payments, and is separate from the existing cashback program, which has a monthly limit of 100,000 won. A person can receive up to 100,000 won in cashback when spending 2 million won.
 As a result, users of Haenam Love Gift Certificates can enjoy discounts of up to 18% during the period, with the certificates sold at a 10% discount and 3% cashback offered on card and QR payments.
 A Haenam County official explained, “Cashback is provided only when using funds you purchased or recharged yourself, or amounts you received as gifts. It is not provided when using policy allowances or cashback, so please check how your payment method is linked before using it. The promotion offering this additional cashback will end early if its budget is exhausted.”
 The official also said, “As the Korea Grand Festival is being held again this year after last year’s event, I hope many county residents will take part in the promotion offering an additional 5% cashback for card and QR use, enjoy its generous benefits, and join in revitalizing the local economy.”
 Meanwhile, Haenam County will sell Haenam Love Gift Certificates at a 10% discount throughout November, with a combined limit of 500,000 won (10% off at purchase for paper certificates; for card and QR certificates, 10% off at purchase plus 3% cashback on payment). Within the combined limit, paper certificates can be purchased at a discount for up to 200,000 won.
