[Financial News] ITCEN PNS, a security platform specialist in the ITCEN Group, announced on the 28th that it will strengthen its secure communications business targeting the defense and public sector markets in partnership with global security company BlackBerry.
ITCEN PNS will take part with BlackBerry Korea in the 2026 Aviation Defense Logistics Expo (GADLEX 2026), held at GUMICO from the 28th through the 30th, and showcase its BlackBerry Secure Communications portfolio, which spans everything from crisis response to device management and secure communications.
At the exhibition, the company will present a comprehensive suite of security capabilities needed for the core operations of defense and public institutions through products including BlackBerry AtHoc, a real-time crisis response and emergency communications platform; BlackBerry UEM, which centrally manages a range of work devices and data; and BlackBerry SecuSUITE, which provides a secure, encryption-based environment for voice and messaging. These capabilities include rapidly disseminating information and enabling communication among stakeholders during emergencies, securely managing work devices, and safely transmitting sensitive information.
ITCEN PNS and BlackBerry plan to promote a secure communications strategy that “connects critical missions as one, from crisis response to secure communications.” At their exhibition booth, the two companies will introduce BlackBerry’s key security solutions to representatives of defense and public institutions and major industries, and discuss how they can be used in mission-critical environments as well as the diverse security needs of domestic customers.
The strategy is to bring BlackBerry’s global secure communications technology to the domestic market, drawing on the technical capabilities ITCEN PNS has built through its own security platform business and its understanding of domestic customers’ environments. The company plans to raise the security level of defense and public institutions and major industry customers, and support efforts to strengthen digital resilience so that essential operations can continue even in a crisis.
Park Won-gyu, CEO of ITCEN PNS, said, “In the defense and public sectors, it is essential to have the security capabilities not only to respond proactively to security threats but also to relay information quickly and collaborate securely during a crisis. By combining BlackBerry’s global technological expertise with ITCEN PNS’s experience in the domestic security business, we will provide solutions that meet the needs of defense and public sector customers and actively expand business opportunities in related markets.”
Song Han-jin, head of BlackBerry Korea, said, “In mission-critical environments such as defense and public institutions, it is important to ensure reliable communications and business continuity even in emergencies. We will help strengthen domestic customers’ security capabilities through BlackBerry’s solutions and expand our business in the Korean market through our partnership with ITCEN PNS.”
