56,000 Apartment Units to Hit the Nationwide Market in November, Up 89.1% Year on Year

[Financial News] More than 56,000 apartment units are set to hit the market nationwide in November. That is an 89.1% increase from last year, with more than half of the total concentrated in the Capital Metropolitan Area. According to Real Estate R114 on the 28th, a total of 56,533 apartment units are scheduled for presale nationwide next month, November.
By region, the Capital Metropolitan Area accounts for 56.6% of the total, with 32,017 units—a 37.7% increase from the same month last year. Gyeonggi Province will see a year-high 20,278 units supplied. Supply in Seoul and Incheon will also surge by 146.2% and 226.5%, respectively, over the same period.
A total of 24,516 units will be supplied in provincial areas, a 269% surge from November last year. North Gyeongsang Province is planning the largest supply among the provincial areas, with 5,723 units—about seven times as many as last year.
More specifically, Gyeryong Construction will supply Elif Siheung The Prime in Block B-5 of the Siheung Geomo Public Housing District in Siheung-si, Gyeonggi Province. The complex will comprise 338 units, all with an exclusive area of 84 square meters, in four buildings rising from two basement levels to a maximum of 25 above-ground floors. As it is located in a public housing site, the price ceiling system will apply.
Uijeongbu Station Pellis Tower Yangwoo Naean Ae, which is being built in Uijeongbu-dong, Uijeongbu-si, is also set to be supplied in November. The complex will comprise 1,506 units in total: 1,252 apartments, 48 officetel units, 168 office units and 38 neighborhood commercial units. It will rise from six basement levels to a maximum of 49 above-ground floors.
In Seoul, the mega-complex The H Banpo 124, a reconstruction of Banpo Jugong Apartment Complex 1 in Banpo-dong, Seocho District, will comprise 5,007 units. Of these, 1,832 units with exclusive areas of 59–130 square meters will be offered for general sale.
Gyeonghuigung Efit, a redevelopment of Donuimun District 2 in Gyonam-dong, Jongno District, will offer 135 of its 228 units for general sale. Harrington Place Mullae, being built in the area of Mullae-dong 3-ga in Yeongdeungpo District, will offer all 218 units for general sale.
Supply is also planned in provincial areas. Sejong Smart City L Sujain, in Sejong 5-2 Living Zone in Hapgang-dong, Sejong City, is set to begin a large-scale offering, with all 2,191 units available for general sale.
In North Gyeongsang Province, Kumho Construction will introduce Hyeongok Central Atera, a reconstruction of Hyeongok 3 Jugong Apartment. The complex will comprise 770 units in seven buildings rising from two basement levels to 29 above-ground floors. In Gumi-si, Gumi Park One Desian, being built in Doryang-dong, will offer 1,355 units with exclusive areas of 84–110 square meters for general sale out of 2,648 units in total.
In addition, Hillstate Ulsan Station River Fore is set to be supplied in Block M5 of the KTX Ulsan Station Area Complex District in Samnam-eup, Ulju-gun, Ulsan Metropolitan City. In Busan, Yeonsan Station Sujain Centrio, being developed through the Sambo Apartment block housing renewal project in Yeonsan-dong, Yeonje District, is also set to be supplied.
