[Financial News] SK hynix CEO Noh-Jung Kwak said on the 28th, regarding sub-subsidiary Solidigm’s plans to list on the U.S. stock market, “We have decided to suspend our review of a pre-IPO and an IPO,” but added, “We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the AI data center storage market and secure growth opportunities.”
During the third-quarter earnings conference call that day, Kwak said, “We will pursue investment and funding plans for this in a way that enhances the corporate and shareholder value of Solidigm and SK hynix.”
Kwak added, “We will make up for any temporary reduction in our capacity to return value to shareholders as we prepare for the future with the results of those efforts, and continue investing even more boldly to sustain growth. In line with this principle, we want to return to our shareholders, as a special dividend, the returns on our Kioxia investment realized this year.”
