Yuanta Securities holds charity golf tournament for VIPs, donates 30 million won

[Financial News] Yuanta Securities held a charity golf tournament with its top clients and donated funds to support families with children with disabilities. The event combined customer service and social contribution as a way for the company to fulfill its social responsibilities. Yuanta Securities said on the 27th that it had held the 8th Yuanta Securities VIP Invitational Charity Pro-Am on the 26th at Namseoul Country Club in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
About 100 of Yuanta Securities' top clients and 35 Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) players took part in the tournament. The clients were assigned to groups with professional players and enjoyed playing rounds together.
The tournament began with opening remarks by Luo Zhipeng, CEO of Yuanta Securities, and was played using the Shin-Peoria system, which gave everyone a chance to contend for the win. Events included “Have a Good Shot,” which awarded “Olla Tiger” key rings, Yuanta Securities character merchandise, as well as a hole-in-one event, drawing an enthusiastic response from participants.
The event also included activities to emphasize the spirit of sharing. Yuanta Securities set up a dedicated donation zone at the venue and held a “We Create Fortune” event, giving customers who donated a chance to enter a lucky draw. The company also handed a 30 million won social contribution fund, raised by adding customer donations to the company’s contribution, over to The Beautiful Foundation.
The donation will be used for the “Child Care Support Project for Children with Disabilities,” which aims to ease the caregiving burden on families of children with disabilities.
Yuanta Securities established and operates the “Yuanta Securities Public Interest Trust for Children with Disabilities” in 2017, the first of its kind in the securities industry, to support children pursuing their dreams despite difficult circumstances. The company also raised donations at each of its seven previous charity pro-am tournaments to support The Beautiful Foundation's programs for children and young people with disabilities.
