According to the agricultural machinery industry on the 27th, Daedong participated under its export brand KIOTI in the Sunbelt Ag Expo and EQUIP EXPO 2026.
At the Sunbelt Ag Expo, held in Moultrie, Georgia, from the 20th to the 22nd, Daedong displayed 32 machines and around 20 types of implements at an outdoor booth covering approximately 2,560 square meters. Its display included 18 tractors, seven zero-turn lawn mowers, four compact construction machines and three K9 Thunder multipurpose utility vehicles.
The company showcased how tractors and implements can be combined for different tasks, including cultivation, pasture management and materials transport. It paired a disc mower with an HX1151 tractor and a round baler with an HX1402, enabling demonstrations of cutting and baling grass. It also displayed a track loader and a compact excavator, broadening the range of applications to include farm site maintenance, excavation and loading.
At EQUIP EXPO, held in Louisville, Kentucky, from the 21st to the 23rd, the company presented equipment aimed at the landscaping and garden care sectors and the compact equipment market. In indoor and outdoor spaces measuring approximately 390 and 930 square meters, respectively, it displayed tractors, loader and backhoe implements, track loaders, excavators, lawn mowers and utility vehicles.
The company also ran a test-drive program for key machines outdoors, giving landscaping installation and maintenance companies, equipment rental firms and dealers a chance to assess their performance on the job and handling characteristics.
At both expos, Daedong held customer consultations through its North American sales staff and local dealers, and also sought to recruit new dealers in the landscaping sector. The company plans to incorporate customer feedback gathered at the events into product and service improvements and expand its customer base beyond agriculture.
Yun Chihwan, head of Daedong’s North American subsidiary, said, “North American customers’ equipment needs are diversifying beyond agriculture into landscaping, facility management and compact construction. We will strengthen our cooperation with local dealers to expand new sales opportunities.”
The Sunbelt Ag Expo is a major agricultural show in the southeastern United States, with at least 850 agricultural machinery and agriculture-related companies participating each year. EQUIP EXPO is an exhibition for the landscaping, gardening and outdoor equipment sectors, attracting around 30,000 industry professionals.
