[Financial News] BS Group-owned Pine Beach Golf Links hosted an LPGA Tour regular-season event for the second consecutive year.
BS Group announced on the 27th that the ‘BMW Ladies Championship 2026,’ held from the 22nd to the 25th at Pine Beach in Haenam County, had concluded. According to BS Group, around 40,000 visitors attended over the four days.
A total of 84 players, including 15 KLPGA players, competed in the tournament, the only regular LPGA Tour event in Korea. Japan’s Yuri Yoshida won with a final total of 17 under par, after competing for a total prize purse of $2.35 million.
Pine Beach was named for the first time to Golf.com and Golf Magazine’s ‘2026 World’s 100 Best Golf Resorts’ list this year. This was the first LPGA event held there since the selection.
Of the 27 holes across the three courses—Pine, Beach and Oceano—10 are adjacent to the sea. During the tournament, spectators gathered at key holes, including holes 6 and 7 of the Beach Course, where players tee off across the sea.
BS Group introduced its major businesses at its gallery booth at the tournament venue and held roulette and prize events, as well as selling Pine Beach merchandise. Around 3,000 people visited the booth over the four days.
A BS Group representative said, “It is meaningful to once again highlight Pine Beach’s standing as a world-class, prestigious course, recognized as it has been, while successfully hosting Korea’s only LPGA event for the second consecutive year. We will continue to do our utmost to ensure BS Group contributes to the local economy.”
