[Financial News] Tata Daewoo Mobility Company Limited has opened a new sales dealership in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, to strengthen its commercial vehicle sales network in the Chungcheong region. The move is aimed at improving customer access and sales efficiency by establishing a presence in an area where demand for commercial vehicles is concentrated due to South Chungcheong Province’s industrial structure and logistics characteristics.
On the 27th, Tata Daewoo Mobility Company Limited announced that it had opened a new Chungcheong Central dealership in Mokcheon-eup, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan. This brings its nationwide sales network to 27 locations.
The dealership is located in Mokcheon-eup, near the Mokcheon Interchange on the Gyeongbu Expressway, making it easy to travel to the Seoul metropolitan area, Daejeon and the Yeongnam region. The location is also considered to offer good access to the Honam region via the Cheonan Junction and the Cheonan–Nonsan Expressway.
Tata Daewoo Mobility Company Limited plans to capitalize on this location to meet demand for interregional freight transport between the Seoul metropolitan area and the Chungcheong and Honam regions. It will also actively target demand for transporting raw materials and parts in the Cheonan–Asan manufacturing belt, where display, battery and auto-parts companies are clustered. The company says the dealership is also close to the industrial complexes in Ochang and Osong, North Chungcheong Province, enabling it to serve customers in areas along the border between South and North Chungcheong provinces.
Tata Daewoo Mobility Company Limited plans to continue expanding its sales network in response to changing demand in each region and to build a network that can strengthen both new vehicle sales and customer management.
Im Hyeong-jung, CEO of Tata Daewoo Sales, said, “In the commercial vehicle market, the types of vehicles and services customers seek vary according to regional industrial structures and logistics flows. We are therefore reorganizing our sales network to better reflect demand in each region, and the Chungcheong Central dealership has newly opened as part of that effort. Building on our customers’ trust, we will further strengthen Tata Daewoo Mobility Company Limited’s position in Cheonan’s commercial vehicle market.”
Jo Nam-sik, head of Tata Daewoo Sales’ Chungcheong-Honam division, said, “Cheonan is close to major expressways and industrial complexes, so demand for a variety of commercial vehicles is expected, from line-haul transport to parts transport within industrial complexes. Through the opening of the Chungcheong Central dealership, we plan to expand our contact with local customers and offer vehicles tailored to each customer’s operating environment and business needs, thereby improving customer satisfaction in practical terms and strengthening our sales competitiveness.”
