[Financial News] Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics shared strategies for combination treatments in medical aesthetics, from skin improvement to facial contouring and lifting.
Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics said on the 27th that they had held the ‘DEEP Symposium’ at Lotte Hotel in Busan on the 24th and 25th, with around 60 medical professionals in attendance.
The symposium focused on how to select and combine products based on patients’ skin condition, facial shape and treatment goals. Clinical cases using products including the botulinum toxin Nabota, the fat-dissolving injectable V-Olet, the ECM-based product Reallo Inject Fine, the Duseu lifting thread and the calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA)-based product Dclassy CaHA were presented.
On the first day, lectures and discussions focused on improving skin condition and facial contouring. Son Mu-hyeon, representative director of Cheongdam FnB Clinic, and Yun Hyeon-seung, director of the Gimhae branch of MimiSseom Clinic, shared combination treatment cases and their experience developing treatment plans for individual patients. They also discussed product combinations, strategies for applying products to different areas, and considerations during procedures.
On the second day, Park Tae-hyeong, director of Gangnam Skinique Clinic, explained approaches for patients seeking further improvement in facial contour after energy-based device (EBD) treatments. Kim Seo-hwan, director of Gwangju Petit 2.7 Clinic, demonstrated how to apply each product and perform the procedures in live demonstrations.
DEEP is a specialized education program run by Daewoong Pharmaceutical and DNC Aesthetics for medical professionals to share treatment trends and clinical experience.
Yoon Jun-su, head of Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s Nabota Business Division, said, “In combination treatments, it is important to understand the characteristics of each product and determine how to use it for each patient.” He added, “We will continue providing education that combines clinical lectures, live procedures and discussions.”
Yu Hyeon-seung, head of DNC Aesthetics, said, “The key to combination treatments is identifying the improvements a patient needs and selecting suitable products and procedures.” He added, “We will continue providing education so medical professionals can consider different approaches and share their clinical experience.”
