[Financial News] Grand Moment Youth Hostel (Operations Representative Park Su-young) said on the 26th that it had taken part in the 31st Geumnyeonsan Festival, held at Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Center on the 24th, and operated its “Halloween Pumpkin Lantern-Making” hands-on booth to an enthusiastic response.
Marking its 31st edition, the Geumnyeonsan Festival drew around 1,500 visitors and featured youth rock band performances and a variety of hands-on events under the theme “Rock & Star! Where Youth Dreams Shine!”
The booth was set up to give young people the opportunity to experience a range of cultural and hands-on activities at a local festival and develop their creativity and self-expression by making their own creations.
The Grand Moment Youth Hostel booth ran for about three hours from 6 p.m. that day. Participants made pumpkin lanterns using LED lights, weaving pipe cleaners into handles and using a variety of decorative embellishments and acrylic markers to complete creations that reflected their individual styles.
Park Su-young, operations representative at Grand Moment Youth Hostel, said, “I am very pleased to have taken part in a meaningful youth festival where young people can freely showcase their dreams and talents and to have been able to offer many young people and citizens an enjoyable hands-on experience.” Park added, “We will continue working to support youth activities and cultural development in the local community and to offer beneficial hands-on programs.”
This year's Geumnyeonsan Festival featured 15 hands-on booths run by youth-related organizations, including Grand Moment Youth Hostel, Dongnae-gu Youth Center, Tongmyong University's Department of Korean Language Education and Multicultural Studies, Yangjeong Youth Training Center, and Saha-gu Youth Culture Center.
