[Financial News] Bank of Hope has added exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to its model portfolio (MP) subscription service, becoming the first bank to do so, in a move to expand investment choices for customers enrolled in retirement pension plans.
According to financial industry sources on the 26th, Bank of Hope has newly introduced an “ETF Portfolio” to its “Bank of Hope MP Subscription Service.”
Launched last year as the first service of its kind in the banking sector, the “Bank of Hope MP Subscription Service” regularly provides customers via KakaoTalk with portfolios tailored to their investment profiles by Bank of Hope’s retirement pension experts, as well as market trends and other information.
With the addition of the ETF portfolio, Bank of Hope retirement pension customers can now easily check the status of their pension assets and market trends via KakaoTalk. As investment options have expanded from the existing fund-focused portfolios to ETFs, customers also have a wider range of products to choose from based on their individual investment profiles and objectives.
Meanwhile, Bank of Hope has been named an outstanding provider in the retirement pension provider assessment for three consecutive years, becoming the first bank in the banking sector to do so. It is also ranked first among banks for the increase in retirement pension reserves, based on cumulative figures for the third and fourth quarters of this year, strengthening its position in the retirement pension market.
An official from Bank of Hope’s Retirement Pension Group said, “As a reliable partner to retirement pension customers, we will continue to introduce differentiated, customer-centric digital pension services.”
