Walkerhill rolls out fall “WALKEE” program, from forest experiences to kids’ activities

[Financial News] WALKERHILL HOTELS & RESORTS is introducing a range of hands-on programs for families staying at the hotel this fall.
According to industry sources on the 26th, WALKERHILL HOTELS & RESORTS is running its “WALKEE” program, which draws on the hotel’s natural surroundings and facilities at the foot of Achasan Mountain to offer guests a fall staycation. WALKEE is Walkerhill’s leisure-experience specialist, leading seasonal indoor and outdoor activities for hotel guests.
The signature “Kids Play with WALKEE” program is designed to meet demand for “kid-cations” (kids + vacations), with families spending their holidays at the hotel. From 5 to 8 p.m., children take part in a range of sports and games with their peers at Forest Park, an outdoor picnic area.
While the children are taking part in the program, parents can relax and enjoy the hotel’s various facilities. They can read in Walkerhill Library, a space reserved for hotel guests on the second floor of Grand Walkerhill Seoul, or use the sports facilities, including golf, tennis and swimming.
There are also programs for the whole family. “Forest Experience with a Guide” takes guests along forest trails near the hotel with a WALKEE who is certified as a professional forest interpreter, sharing stories about the natural ecosystem, plants and animals. On the “Walkerhill Tour,” guests ride an electric cart to visit key hotel facilities, including Douglas House, Pizza Hill, Myeongwolgwan and Aston House, and hear the history and stories associated with each place.
The hotel also offers a range of wellness programs, including “Healing Forest,” with stretching and meditation on a yoga deck in the woods; “Mind Care Yoga,” which incorporates seasonal drinks; and “Walkerhill in a Bottle: Signature Liqueur,” where guests make their own infused liquor.
