Inspire Arena to be renamed 'NAVER Arena' starting in December

INSPIRE Entertainment Resort announced on the 26th that it had signed an arena naming-rights agreement and strategic partnership with NAVER, and that, starting this December, the official name of Inspire Arena would change to 'NAVER Arena at INSPIRE' (NAVER ARENA at INSPIRE).
The naming-rights agreement will take effect this December and remain in force for three years. The contract amount was not disclosed.
The two companies plan to work together on performance content and marketing initiatives, as well as a range of services to improve visitor convenience.
INSPIRE will handle attracting content such as performances and sports events and operating the arena, while NAVER will work to improve the customer experience through brand marketing, technology and services. Specifically, they plan to explore cooperative models that use facial-recognition-based on-site entry and services such as smart maps and directions.
NAVER also plans to expand benefits for Naver Plus Membership users and hold events using Facesign, NAVER Pay's facial-recognition payment technology, among other things.
An INSPIRE representative said, "Through our collaboration with NAVER, we will enhance the customer experience across all aspects of performances and attendance, and create differentiated value."
