Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. launches its first clip-on wireless earbuds, Galaxy Buds On, in Korea

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will begin selling Galaxy Buds On, wireless earbuds featuring a clip-on design that leaves the ears unobstructed, rich sound and call functions, in Korea on the 27th. It is the first product in the Galaxy Buds series to adopt a clip-on design, allowing users to hear the sounds around them naturally while listening to music.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced that Galaxy Buds On would launch in the Korean market on the 27th. The product will be available in a single color, black, and can be purchased from online retailers such as Samsung.com and open marketplaces, as well as offline locations including Samsung Stores nationwide.
With its clip-on design, Galaxy Buds On leaves the ears unobstructed, allowing users to hear the sounds around them naturally. The product incorporates the comfortable fit, rich sound and clear call quality that respondents to Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.'s own survey identified as features they expect from clip-on wireless earbuds.
Made with a shape-memory alloy, the earbuds flex to fit the shape of the ear and sit evenly against it. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. said they are comfortable to wear for extended periods and provide a secure fit even during activities involving a lot of movement, such as exercise.
For sound, the earbuds feature a “Twin Boost Speaker” that delivers rich bass. “Sound Leakage Reduction” technology, which reduces sound escaping from the earbuds, is being applied to the Galaxy Buds series for the first time. During calls, “Intelligent Clear Call” technology ensures clear voice quality.

When paired with a Galaxy AI-enabled smartphone or tablet, users can access hands-free functions including “AI Assistant Voice Wake-up,” “Head Gesture” and “Quick Voice Memo.” They can use voice activation or memo functions even when it is difficult to use both hands.
Galaxy Buds On is compatible with accessories for the Galaxy Buds 4 series. Users can personalize the charging case with accessories to suit their tastes.
From the 27th through November 30, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will give customers who purchase Galaxy Buds On two 30% discount coupons for Galaxy Buds accessories, redeemable on Samsung.com. The coupons can be obtained from the event page and used through December 20 for eligible accessories only. The discount is 30% off the reference price on Samsung.com.
