On the 26th, Lexus Korea announced that it will display the all-new ES battery electric vehicle (BEV) models, the ES 350e and ES 500e, at the 2026 Lexus Masters (LEXUS MASTERS), a Korea Professional Golfers’ Association (KPGA) Tour event taking place from the 29th through November 1 at Club72’s Ocean Course on Yeongjong Island, Incheon. The display will be in the Gallery Plaza inside the tournament venue.
The all-new ES is the eighth-generation, fully redesigned ES. Lexus said it had added the first battery electric vehicle in the ES lineup under its “Multi Pathway” strategy and expanded the range to nine grades in total, including the ES 350h with a sixth-generation hybrid system.
The ES 350e has a maximum driving range of 478 km on a single charge under the combined-cycle rating. The ES 500e has one motor on each axle and distributes driving force through the DIRECT4 electrified all-wheel-drive system. Its design concept is “Clean Tech x Elegance,” and it features a 14-inch multimedia display, Responsive Hidden Switches and Lexus Safety System+ (LSS+), a preventive safety technology.
Other electrified models will also be displayed in the Gallery Plaza. They include the flagship SUV LX 700h, which uses a newly developed parallel hybrid system and an upgraded GA-F platform; the flagship MPV LM 500h, built around the “moving lounge” concept; and the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid SUV.
Hole-in-one prizes will also be awarded during the tournament. Players who score a hole-in-one on the 9th or 17th hole will receive an ES 350e, while those who do so on the 3rd or 8th hole will receive the premium hybrid SUV NX 350h.
Lexus Korea President Manabu Konyama said, “It is meaningful to present the all-new ES at the tournament,” adding, “We hope it will be a platform where people can experience Lexus’s electrification values anew amid the players’ passion and the gallery’s cheers.”
