[Financial News] Influencer Park Ji-ho, who appeared on ‘Ulzzang Era,’ is making headlines after it emerged that he spotted a member of the public who had jumped into the sea during a livestream and quickly moved to rescue them.
Footage of Park Ji-ho’s TikTok livestream, held at a pier near Ilgwang Beach in Busan on the 22nd, is spreading through online communities and social media.
At the time, Park Ji-ho was sitting at the pier, eating sliced raw fish alone and chatting with viewers. A member of the public he happened to meet confided in him about their difficult circumstances, and Park listened and offered words of comfort.
Not long after finishing the conversation with Park Ji-ho, the person walked toward the pier and suddenly jumped into the dark sea. Hearing a splash, Park immediately stood up and looked toward the water, then ran to a fishing boat moored nearby and threw a life ring kept on board in the person’s direction.
Fortunately, the person who had fallen into the sea managed to grab the life ring, and Park pulled on the attached rope to help them get out of the water.
The entire sequence, from the sudden incident to the rescue, was captured on the livestream that was underway at the time. The footage spread rapidly online from the following day, the 23rd, and made headlines.
Park Ji-ho first gained recognition after appearing on the Comedy TV variety show ‘Ulzzang Era 2’ in 2009. Park is now an influencer and connects with fans through TikTok livestreams and other channels.
