“Went to a motel, but there was no intimacy”: Yang Hong-won’s side denies infidelity allegations that surfaced five days after the wedding

[Financial News] Rapper Yang Hong-won, 27, was embroiled in infidelity allegations just five days after getting married. His side said the allegations were baseless and began legal action against the accuser.
On the 23rd, Yang Hong-won’s agency, AP Alchemy, issued an official statement saying, “The accuser’s claims are untrue and the result of malicious editing,” and adding, “The accuser threatened Yang Hong-won and the woman who was victimized in an attempt to extort money, but when that did not go as planned, spread false information.”
Earlier, accuser A raised allegations of infidelity on social media (SNS), claiming that Yang Hong-won had gone to a motel with another woman. A also released phone-call recordings and messages sent to Yang Hong-won’s wife, Won Hyeon-ju.
In response, Alchemy said, “Yang Hong-won and the woman who was victimized have filed complaints against the accuser on charges of extortion, violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes, and defamation by stating false facts,” and gave a detailed account of the circumstances at the time.
According to Alchemy, after a performance, Yang Hong-won was drinking at the accuser’s home when he had to leave after the accuser asked him to go. Alchemy emphasized, “It is true that the heavily intoxicated Yang Hong-won and the woman, who had nowhere else to go, accompanied each other to a motel out of necessity, but there was absolutely no intimacy in the room.”
Alchemy’s account is that Yang Hong-won fell asleep as soon as he checked in, and that the woman felt uncomfortable with the physical contact as she tried to wake him, so she called the accuser and went home with them.
Alchemy added that it had not met the accuser’s demands for money and had secured tips that would prove the incident was a planned fabrication. It also said it would take firm action against those who spread false information and wrote malicious comments.
Meanwhile, Yang Hong-won had a daughter in November 2024 and held a wedding ceremony on the 18th with Won, a former model.
