[Financial News] Global pop star Justin Bieber made a surprise visit to Korea with his wife, Hailey Bieber, for the first time in 13 years.
According to the music and fashion industries, Justin Bieber and his wife arrived at Incheon International Airport early on the 23rd. It was Bieber’s first time setting foot in Korea since his first concert there in 2013. Shortly after arriving, Bieber personally announced his visit by posting on social media (SNS) the message “I’ve arrived in Seoul” (“Made it to Seoul”), along with a selfie and a view of downtown Seoul from inside a car.
The visit was timed to coincide with the first pop-up store in Korea for SKYLRK, the fashion and lifestyle brand Bieber leads. Launched by Bieber, SKYLRK has been building a following among enthusiasts with products such as 3D-printed sneakers made in collaboration with footwear startup Zellerfeld. The pop-up store, open from the 22nd through the 25th in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong District, Seoul, features Seoul-exclusive products. It has drawn considerable interest, with lines forming before opening amid anticipation of Bieber’s visit.

After returning to Korea for the first time in a long while, Bieber was spotted enjoying himself in a relaxed, down-to-earth manner around the city. That day, he visited the Seongsu-dong pop-up store in person and shared photos on social media of himself cheerfully playing table tennis with brand staff on an outdoor terrace, where he had set up a table. In the afternoon, dressed comfortably in a tracksuit, he visited a well-known samgyetang restaurant in Anguk-dong, Jongno District, Seoul. He showed friendly manners, lightly greeting people who recognized him with his hands clasped together.
Bieber, who debuted at age 15 and has produced numerous global hits, including “Baby” and “Peaches,” is widely regarded as the world’s top pop star today. Although he had to suspend his world tour in 2022 due to health problems, he demonstrated his distinctive musicality and flamboyant fashion sense by headlining the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the United States this past April. In July, he also appeared alongside BTS and others at the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North and Central America, showing that he was still going strong. In his personal life, he married model Hailey Bieber in 2019, and the couple welcomed their first son, Jack Blues Bieber, this year.
