The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) said it will host the pop-up store “Seongsu Rest Stop,” showcasing products and services from tourism venture companies, and the networking event “Tourism Venture Cheonggyecheon Club” in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on the 23rd and 24th.
At “Seongsu Rest Stop,” held at The Gave Seongsu, 27 tourism venture companies will showcase a range of experiential offerings, including a 3D AI photo booth, K-pop dance classes, AI-based beauty and medical consultations, and traditional liquor tastings. An online special promotion and live commerce in partnership with private platforms such as MyRealTrip will also run through November 13.
At the “Tourism Venture Cheonggyecheon Club,” held jointly with Korea Venture Investment Corporation, companies will explore opportunities to attract investment and build partnerships through investor relations (IR) pitches, reverse-pitch presentations to investment firms, and one-on-one consultations.
Also on the 24th, Song In-hyeok, CEO of Unique Good Company, which operates the experiential content space “Real World Seongsu,” will give a talk on artificial intelligence transformation (AX). A hands-on session on building AI agents for tourism venture companies will also be held.
Kim Gwan-mi, head of KTO’s Tourism Business Support Office, said, “We will continue our support so that tourism venture companies can broaden their engagement with the public and strengthen their competitiveness in the market.”
