[Financial News] As advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology create an environment where high-quality results can be produced easily, a “keep-progressing” approach to learning—which values the learning process over results—is becoming a new self-development trend among young people. In response, the education industry is stepping up tailored programs that enable repeated study and real-time questions.
YBM Online Lectures, YBM Net’s online education brand, said on the 23rd that it is offering the “Unlimited Pass for All Courses,” which allows learners to retake courses without pressure and at their own pace. The offering reflects the recent learning preferences of Generation Z, who build their skills through trial and error rather than fixating on short-term results such as passing exams or earning a particular score.
“Keep-progressing” refers to an attitude of treating even failures or delays along the way toward a goal as opportunities for growth. This approach to learning is drawing attention, particularly in language studies, where results may not come in the short term and checking wrong answers and addressing weaknesses are essential.
YBM Online Lectures’ Unlimited Pass is designed to give learners unlimited access during their enrollment period to 139 courses, including major language courses such as TOEIC, TOEIC Speaking and OPIc, as well as courses for developing practical skills. Even if learners choose the wrong course or do not understand the material the first time, they can choose it again and retake it at any time at no extra cost.
The program also includes support to help learners immediately get past anything they find difficult. They can identify areas where they need work through practice tests and lectures explaining the answers, and get real-time answers to their questions through Y-Bot, an AI learning assistant. Learners can choose a six- or 12-month enrollment period, and the 12-month plan costs about 900 won per day.
A YBM Online Lectures representative said, “Recently, in language learning too, the process of building skills through trial and error is becoming increasingly important, not just achieving a target score. We support learners’ language studies as they take one step each day at their own pace with the Unlimited Pass for All Courses.”
