[Financial News] As cyberattacks using artificial intelligence (AI) become more sophisticated, strengthening the ability to respond with AI is also becoming increasingly important in the security field.
AhnLab, Inc. held an event to share AI-based threat detection and analysis technologies and next-generation security strategies with security practitioners from major companies.
AhnLab, Inc. announced on the 23rd that it had held the technical conference “AhnLab Tech Summit 2026” at L Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, on the 22nd.
AhnLab Tech Summit is an annual customer event where participants share know-how on responding to the latest security threats using AhnLab’s products and services.
Around 160 security practitioners from client companies in a range of sectors, including the public sector, finance, manufacturing and information technology (IT), attended this year’s event.
AhnLab, Inc. presented its AI-centered strategy for strengthening security and its 2027 product and service roadmap.
Key presentation topics included the latest security threat trends, “AhnLab AI Plus,” Extended Detection and Response (XDR), operational technology (OT) security, and zero trust.
In particular, the company outlined a strategy to use AI as a core technology across its security products and services, rather than as an add-on feature in individual products. Technical sessions and exhibits also showcased examples of AI being applied throughout security operations, from threat detection and analysis to response.
Han Chan-seok, head of AhnLab, Inc.’s business division, said, “We plan to expand a range of training and technology-exchange activities to raise customers’ security levels and strengthen their capabilities.”
