[Financial News] Dongseo University’s Anchor Project Group Global Support Division and the Dongnae-gu Innovation Eoullim Center recently signed an MOU and are embarking on full-fledged cooperation to promote local community development and build global networks, the university said on the 23rd.
The MOU was initiated to build a sustainable ecosystem for shared local prosperity by combining the university’s global infrastructure with the capabilities of a local innovation hub.
Under the agreement, the two institutions plan to jointly design and operate tailored programs connecting local residents, international students, and foreigners living in the area, and to establish a model for cooperation by sharing human and material resources.
They also agreed to gradually flesh out local partnership projects and global cooperation initiatives through ongoing communication.
Choi Eun-ji, director of the Dongnae-gu Innovation Eoullim Center, said, “By sharing the two institutions’ infrastructure, we will contribute to spreading global culture in the area and revitalizing programs that involve local residents,” adding, “We hope the collaboration between the two institutions will bring warmth and vitality to the local community, beginning with local volunteer activities by international students, which start this November.”
