[Financial News] Makeup products will be provided for hands-on training for teenagers preparing to enter the beauty industry.
Green Umbrella said on the 23rd that 13,169 makeup products donated by Kao Korea, including lip, base and eyeliner products, will be delivered to five Seoul schools that offer beauty education programs. The donated items are worth 280 million won.
The recipient schools are Seoul Dongsan High School, Seo Seoul Life Science High School, Jongno Industrial Information School, Yeongnak Medical Science High School and Eunpyeong Culture and Arts Information School. The two organizations held a handover ceremony in the conference room of Seoul Dongsan High School on the 13th.
High school beauty programs teach theory and hands-on skills in areas such as hair, skincare, makeup and nail art. The support was arranged to help teenagers gain practical experience using cosmetics. This is the first time Kao Korea has donated through Green Umbrella.
Kao Korea CEO Keisuke Yoshida said he hoped students would develop a range of makeup skills and the practical abilities needed in the workplace.
A Green Umbrella spokesperson said, “We hope this support will give young people practical learning opportunities and help them prepare for their careers,” adding that the organization would continue providing educational support for children.
