[Financial News] BBQ is continuing its social-contribution activities by sharing chicken with local community members, including children, teenagers and older adults.
According to industry sources on the 23rd, Genesis BBQ Group visited the Anseong Retired Police Officers Association hall in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, on the 21st to mark Police Day and held its “Visiting Chicken Relay” for around 30 former police officers.
The Visiting Chicken Relay is a social-contribution initiative in which BBQ visits the site and delivers chicken based on stories about neighbors in need or stories from people wishing to express their gratitude.
The initiative was organized to express gratitude and respect to retired police officers who had devoted many years to protecting the lives and safety of the public, in recognition of Police Day. In particular, even after retirement, the Anseong Retired Police Officers Association continues its work to maintain order and cooperate on public safety in the community, as well as volunteer activities, with a focus on crime prevention efforts such as patrols.
BBQ also teamed up with the franchise family at its Anseong Ayang branch to deliver chicken sets comprising Golden Olive Chicken, cheese balls and Lemon Boy to former police officers.
A BBQ representative said, “We will continue to look after communities across the region and seek out neighbors in need of appreciation and encouragement, carrying on our work of sharing.”
