[Financial News] A redevelopment apartment complex in the Donuimun area of Jongno-gu, Seoul, next to the Gwanghwamun business district, will be offered to buyers next month.
According to HL D&I Halla on the 23rd, sales of Gyeonghuigung Epit, being built as part of the Donuimun 2 Urban Renewal Promotion Zone Urban Improvement Redevelopment Project in Gyonam-dong, Jongno-gu, will begin in November. The development will comprise two apartment buildings, with six basement levels and 21 above-ground floors, and one office building. The apartments will come in three exclusive-use areas—39, 59 and 84 square meters—catering to a broad range of buyers, from those seeking smaller units to those looking for the country's standard-sized apartments.
According to industry sources, the Donuimun redevelopment was divided into three zones. Gyeonghuigung Xi, a 2,533-unit complex completed in 2017, was built first in Zone 1, while NH Nonghyup Tower was established in Zone 3. With Zone 2, situated between the two, now being offered, redevelopment in the area is effectively nearing completion.
The complex is located in an area with strong demand for homes close to downtown workplaces. It is also served by two subway lines: Seoul Subway Line 5 at Seodaemun Station and Seoul Subway Line 3 at Dongnimmun Station. In particular, an underground passage runs directly from Seodaemun Station, past NH Nonghyup Tower, to the complex, providing excellent connectivity to the station. The company says it plans to create a 'private complex,' taking into account the size of the development and other factors.[email protected] Jeong Gyeong-su Reporter
