[Financial News] The family of a 9-year-old child who injured his head in a fall from a tree has expressed gratitude to the paramedics who provided first aid and took him to the hospital. The family sent the paramedics a handwritten letter and fruit to convey their thanks.
Ulsan Bukbu Fire Station said on the 22nd that A, a 9-year-old boy, and his family visited Yeompo 119 Safety Center at around 2 p.m. on the 20th and delivered a thank-you letter and a box of fruit.
On the 18th, A was injured when he fell after climbing a tree at an apartment complex playground in Dong District, Ulsan, suffering a head laceration. After receiving first aid from the paramedics who responded to the call, A underwent surgery at a nearby university hospital.
In her letter, A’s mother introduced herself as “the mother of a 9-year-old male monkey” and expressed her gratitude, saying, “While I was beside myself, worried that something might happen to my child, you kept calming me down.”
She added, “Thanks to your quick response, my child had surgery without any problems with his head and is now happily running around and playing,” and said, “I hope you won’t forget that there are always many people cheering you on.”
A representative of the center said, “We only did what we were supposed to do, but your warm-hearted gesture moved us deeply,” adding, “We will continue to do our utmost to protect the lives and safety of citizens.”
