“Killed her mother”... Daughter in her 40s arrested in Seoul’s Gangseo District

[Financial News] Police have arrested a woman in her 40s who killed her biological mother, who was in her 60s, in Seoul’s Gangseo District.
Seoul Gangseo Police Station said it urgently arrested a woman in her 40s, identified as A, in Ujangsan-dong, Gangseo District, at around 8:40 a.m. on the 22nd.
Police responded to a voluntary report from A at around 8:15 a.m. that day saying she had killed her mother, and apprehended her.
Police, who initially charged A with murder at the time of her arrest, explained, “The suspect and victim have been confirmed to be a biological mother and daughter, so we plan to change the charge to parricide.”
Police are investigating the details of the case, including the motive.
