[Financial News] Singer Jeon Yujin’s official fandom, ‘Ten Ten,’ has begun making recurring donations to help people at risk of having their treatment interrupted.
According to Miral Welfare Foundation on the 22nd, members of ‘Ten Ten’ have been voluntarily making recurring donations since the first part of MBC’s ‘Miracle of Autumn’ aired on the 16th. Fans donate a set amount each month, and the funds will be used to help families in crisis in South Korea who urgently need support with medical and living expenses.
‘Miracle of Autumn’ is a fundraising program jointly planned by the foundation and MBC. It shares the stories of children with severe disabilities and young adults who are at risk of having treatment interrupted because of financial hardship. Jeon Yujin, singer Son Bin-ah, and actor Yoo Sun serve as co-hosts.
Jeon Yujin has taken part in donations supporting children with cancer and neighbors affected by floods and wildfires, and this broadcast marked her first connection with the foundation. “As I heard their stories, I realized that the reality these families are facing is much harder than I had imagined,” she said. “I hope many people will take an interest so the children can continue receiving the treatment they need.”
A fan club representative said they had started recurring donations to show support for Jeon Yujin’s participation as an MC, adding that they intended to continue helping children and families in need of treatment.
Earlier, Son Bin-ah’s official fan café, ‘Shining Star,’ also donated 5 million won to the foundation and began making recurring donations in response to the same broadcast.
Part 2 of ‘Miracle of Autumn’ will air on MBC on the 23rd at 6:05 p.m. The program will feature the stories of 17-year-old Kim Si-hun, whose scoliosis worsened after a heart transplant and who is about to undergo surgery; 9-month-old Kim Na-yun, who is waiting for a liver transplant; and 25-year-old Jeong Seok-beom, who is bedridden due to a brain lesion and other conditions and is awaiting surgery to remove a gum tumor.
Viewers can contribute through the donation channels announced during the broadcast. Donations made through the program will be used for rehabilitation treatment, surgery, medical supplies, and other needs.
