[Financial News]  Singer and actor Suzy has reportedly signed a contract for a high-end residential complex under construction in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where the top presale price is in the 40-billion-won range. Actress Shin Se-kyung, Jang Keun-suk, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon are also reportedly among the buyers who have signed contracts for units in the same building, prompting speculation that they may live there as neighbors.
According to TenAsia on the 22nd, Suzy recently signed a presale contract for L'ARBRE 27, a high-end residential complex in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It has just 27 units, and the most expensive residence is reportedly priced in the 40-billion-won range.
L'ARBRE 27 is also a residential complex where several entertainers have reportedly signed presale contracts. Actress Shin Se-kyung was previously reported to have signed a contract, and Jang Keun-suk, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon are also reportedly among the buyers.
If they do move in, they will live in the same building.
With news of Suzy’s contract now emerging, interest continues in whether entertainers will move into L'ARBRE 27.
L'ARBRE 27, under construction near 90-20 Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, is a high-end residential complex being built by Hyundai Engineering & Construction. It consists of two buildings, with five basement levels and seven floors above ground, and has a total of 27 units.
Unlike large apartment complexes, it was designed to limit the number of resident households and to emphasize privacy and independent living spaces.
The residences will come in several types, including garden houses with gardens, terrace houses and top-floor penthouses.
The top-floor super penthouse is reportedly priced in the 40-billion-won range. Garden houses start in the 26-billion-won range, while terrace houses start in the 14-billion-won range; some sixth-floor residences are reportedly being sold for about 19.5 billion won.
However, the specific type of residence Suzy contracted for and its presale price have not been disclosed.
Suzy continues to work as a singer and actress. She is currently awaiting the release of the Disney+ original series 'Portraits of Delusion,' and the film 'Seven O'Clock Breakfast Club for the Brokenhearted,' in which she stars alongside actor Lee Jin-wook, is also scheduled to be released this December.
