D'LIVE said on the 22nd that it had received 65 entries for the 'Goyang Saeil x D'LIVE 60-Second W-ink Film Festival AI Short-Form Contest,' which it held with the center. Participants created videos 60 to 90 seconds long using generative AI tools, focusing on women's work and careers.
'Goyang Saeil' is the name of the Women's Reemployment Center operated by the center. It provides career counseling, training, job placement support and other services to women with interrupted careers and women seeking employment. 'W-ink' combines the 'W' in Work and Woman with Link, conveying the idea of connecting women's careers.
A judging panel comprising D'LIVE TV Media Center Director Yoon Jeong-ho and outside experts evaluated the entries on the 15th based on criteria including relevance to the theme, use of AI and content quality. The award categories are Grand Prize, Gold Prize, Silver Prize, Encouragement Award and On-Site Empathy Award, with total prize money of 2 million won. The On-Site Empathy Award will be selected by a vote among screening attendees.
The awards ceremony and screening of the entries will be held on the 29th at a movie theater in Goyang. The winning entries will air in November on D'LIVE TV's viewer-produced program 'The TV World I Made' and are also expected to be shared through D'LIVE TV, SNS and other channels.
A D'LIVE representative said, “We hope this film festival will help raise the local community's interest in women with interrupted careers,” adding, “We will continue activities that support local residents' endeavors.”
