BMW’s new 7 Series and X5 debut at Haenam golf course; i7 and iX3 offered as hole-in-one prizes

On the 22nd, BMW Korea announced that it would display BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad models at the BMW Ladies Championship 2026, taking place through the 25th at Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam, in the Jeonnam-Gwangju region. Vehicles were placed at the Gallery Plaza and key points around the course so spectators could see several brands and models together.
The new 7 Series and new X5, both scheduled to launch later this year, were unveiled for the first time at the Gallery Plaza. The new 7 Series is a mid-cycle refresh four years after the previous model, and BMW said it had updated its design, performance and convenience features. The all-electric SAV, the new iX3, is a vehicle BMW describes as the first production model of Neue Klasse.
The display also featured spaces organized by theme. The BEV zone included the i5 and iX; the M zone featured the M3, M5 Touring and XM, an M-exclusive plug-in hybrid SAV. The Luxury Class area showcased the M850i xDrive Gran Coupe and X7, along with the all-electric MINI Countryman.
On the course, the new iX3 was placed at the 1st and 15th holes, the BMW Motorrad F 450 GS adventure motorcycle at the 3rd, and the all-electric MINI Countryman at the 8th. The new 7 Series, a model making its first appearance in Korea, was positioned at the 13th and 18th holes.
Hole-in-one prizes were also up for grabs during the tournament. The first player to make a hole-in-one at the 13th hole and the first to do so at the 15th will receive the new i7 and new iX3, respectively.
