[Financial News] Bentley Motors Limited has appointed Michelle Yeoh, an Academy Award-winning actress who has been active for more than 40 years, as its global brand ambassador. Following the reveal of its fourth model, the Torcal, the company is expanding its ambassador lineup and broadening the brand’s reach.
Bentley Motors Limited announced on the 22nd that Yeoh had been selected as an ambassador. Bentley said she had a long-standing connection with the brand. It also noted that her husband, Jean Todt, is known as a Bentley enthusiast who owns a 1965 Continental S3, a 2019 Mulsanne and a 2025 Flying Spur Speed First Edition, among other models.
Born in Malaysia, Yeoh studied ballet in the UK as a teenager. According to Bentley, she later studied creative arts, including theater, in Cheshire, about 24 kilometers from Crewe, where Bentley’s headquarters are located. She made her debut in Hong Kong cinema in the 1980s and made a name for herself by performing high-level action scenes herself. Her films include “Tomorrow Never Dies,” “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” “Crazy Rich Asians,” “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “Wicked.”
In 2023, she became the first Asian woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress, for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” More recently, she has worked on “The Surgeon,” “Blade Runner 2099” and “The Wandering Earth 3,” among other projects.
Yeoh said that in her more than 40 years as an actress, she had been drawn to characters and stories that keep changing while staying true to their essence. She said her values aligned with Bentley’s, as the brand has continued to take on new challenges while preserving its craftsmanship and identity. She also said she was honored to begin a new journey as an ambassador alongside the Torcal.
The Torcal, Bentley’s first all-electric vehicle, was unveiled in London last month. The official portrait was photographed by Greg Williams, Bentley’s external creative director.
Ben Watam, Bentley Motors Limited’s marketing director, said, “Michelle Yeoh is someone who embodies the powerful performance and craftsmanship that Bentley strives for.”
He added, “We expect this partnership to help us share more widely the confidence, individuality and forward-looking spirit that define Bentley today.”
Yeoh serves as a global brand ambassador for Bentley alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Mai Ikuzawa and Greg Williams.
