Yuhan Corporation targets Daiso with derma cosmetics containing 5% panthenol

Yuhan Corporation has officially launched eight new products under 'Dermaplamin Rx' (DERMAPLAMIN Rx), a brand for skin barrier care and soothing for sensitive skin, at Daiso, which is gaining attention as a beauty and healthcare shopping channel.
Dermaplamin Rx is a derma skincare brand developed using Yuhan Corporation's pharmaceutical expertise and skin science know-how. Its new 'Panthenol Barrier' line focuses on helping strengthen the skin barrier and soothe skin made sensitive by external irritants.
The new products feature a 'Cica Calming Complex' formula combining ingredients including panthenol (up to 5%), Centella asiatica-derived lactic acid bacteria, Centella asiatica PDRN, and tea tree oil. All products have passed irritation testing for sensitive skin and are formulated for use on sensitive, dry skin and skin irritated after dermatological procedures.
The eight products launched this month are organized by skin type and skincare step. The key product, the 'Panthenol Barrier Ampoule (50 mL),' has a highly concentrated formula that helps moisturize the stratum corneum, while the 'Panthenol Barrier Cream (60 mL)' contains 5% panthenol and forms a moisturizing barrier. The range also includes a low-pH foaming cleanser, cleansing milk, fine-mist cream mist, hydrating lotion, all-in-one multi balm, and cream mask pack, covering everything from cleansing to basic hydration and intensive soothing care.
A Yuhan Corporation representative said, "We decided to introduce this derma skincare, which brings together Yuhan Corporation's rigorous quality standards and pharmaceutical research capabilities, through Daiso so that it would be accessible to everyone from teenagers onward."
