[Financial News] IBK Investment & Securities is strengthening its linked services with Industrial Bank of Korea and seeking to attract new customers. On the 22nd, IBK Investment & Securities announced an event offering remote securities account opening and stock trading to customers who use Industrial Bank of Korea’s i-ONE Bank mobile app.
The event is being held under the theme, “IBK Investment & Securities is treating you for all your hard work this year, too!” A series of benefits has been arranged to make it easy for Industrial Bank of Korea customers to open securities accounts and experience actual stock trading.
The event runs from today through December 11. The first 2,000 customers to open a new IBK Investment & Securities account through i-ONE Bank during the event period will each receive one randomly selected share of a KOSPI 200 constituent.
Customers who trade 10 million won or more during the event period after opening an account will also receive an additional benefit. Ten of those customers will be selected by draw to receive 500,000 won in cash.
A separate application is required to participate in the event. IBK Investment & Securities will cover the 22% in taxes and related charges on the stock prize. Cash prizes will be paid into the account designated in the event application, after taxes and related charges are deducted.
IBK Investment & Securities plans to use the event to improve Industrial Bank of Korea customers’ access to securities investments and expand customer touchpoints through linked services between banking and securities.
A representative of IBK Investment & Securities said, “This event was designed to provide new customers with tangible investment benefits and make the process flow naturally from opening a securities account to trading,” adding, “Going forward, we will continue to improve customer convenience and provide differentiated financial services through our collaboration with Industrial Bank of Korea.”
