Chairman spotted in “Hipjiro” ... Chey Tae-won has dinner with employees in Euljiro

[Financial News] SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won was spotted having a company dinner with employees in Euljiro, Seoul, drawing widespread attention.
On the 21st, social media posts from people saying they had spotted Chey near SK Telecom’s headquarters in Euljiro continued to appear.
Footage of Chey dining with employees at an Euljiro restaurant known for its outdoor dining, as well as laughing and chatting with them at another bar that appeared to be for a second round, quickly spread.
The footage shows Chey looking relaxed, sharing drinks with younger employees and laughing and chatting with them. A video capturing him actively engaging employees in conversation has already surpassed 940,000 views.
Chey is also well known for regularly sharing meals and communicating with employees. In 2019, he held an “impromptu Happy Talk” session, meeting employees at a restaurant to share a meal and conversation, which drew an enthusiastic response.
Chey recently returned from business trips to the United States, Japan and China, while SK Group is preparing to announce its executive appointments at the end of this month.
