[Financial News] FineMediX, a gastrointestinal endoscopy solutions company, has signed an original design manufacturing (ODM) agreement worth about KRW 3 billion with UK medical device company Creo Medical. The company plans to expand its overseas revenue base by supplying two self-developed endoscopic instruments to the U.S. and Latin American markets.
FineMediX said on the 21st that it had signed an ODM agreement with Creo Medical for ClearTip EUS-FNA/B and ClearCap Distal Attachment. The agreement was signed on the 19th (local time) at United European Gastroenterology Week (UEGW) in Barcelona, Spain. It runs from 2026 to 2028 and is worth a total of $2,109,910 (about KRW 2.973 billion).
ClearTip is a tissue-sampling device used for endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration and biopsy, while ClearCap attaches to the tip of an endoscope to improve visibility and make procedures easier. Both products have received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance, and completed the transition to certification under the European Medical Device Regulation (CE MDR) in June this year.
FineMediX has in-house capabilities spanning product development, regulatory approvals and manufacturing, and supplies products to 48 countries. Through this agreement, it plans to expand supply in the U.S. and Latin American markets by leveraging Creo Medical’s distribution network.
Revenue in the first half of this year was KRW 6.26 billion, up 43.7% from the same period a year earlier, and the company returned to operating profitability. Overseas revenue also increased by about 51%.
“We will build a track record of follow-on orders and sales in the U.S. and Latin American markets, while expanding both sales under our own brand and ODM supply,” said FineMediX CEO Seong-woo Jeon.
