Musicow: “Protecting Investors’ Information” ... Fifth Consecutive Year of International-Standard Certification

Musicow: “Average First-Half Music Copyright Royalty Yield of 5.21%”

[Financial News] The music investment platform Musicow maintained its ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications this year. The certifications cover international standards for information security and personal information protection management systems.
The two certifications assess whether information security and personal information protection management systems comply with international standards. To meet the requirements, organizations must pass an on-site audit by the British Standards Institution (BSI) and satisfy the relevant requirements and control criteria.
Musicow first obtained ISO 27001 certification in 2022, followed by ISO 27701 certification in 2023. Having passed this year’s audit, it has maintained the certifications for five and four consecutive years, respectively.
Musicow plans to upgrade its information security management system and strengthen its security capabilities to create an environment where investors can participate in music investment with confidence.
Average copyright royalty yield of 5.21% in the first half of this year

Musicow is the world’s first music revenue securities platform. The average copyright royalty yield for all songs listed on Musicow in the first half of this year, based on market capitalization at the end of June, was 5.21%.
The song with the highest copyright royalties per share of music securities in the first half of 2026 was RUG’s “Today...She,” for which 15,570 won (before tax) was settled over six months. Next came Patty Kim’s “You, My Friend,” MC Mong’s “Sick Enough to Die (Feat. Mellow),” Davichi’s “Don’t You Know,” and Taeyang’s “Look Only at Me,” which ranked among the top songs in cumulative copyright royalties per share. The five songs had been out for an average of 16.2 years, drawing attention as they demonstrate the staying power of classic hits that continue to be loved long after their release.
The artist Musicow investors searched for most in the first half, demonstrating their strong interest, was IU. The artists ranking in Musicow’s top five by search volume were IU, BIGBANG, AKMU, god, and Davichi.
A Musicow representative explained, “The settlement results for this first half can be said to show the characteristics of music copyright assets: they generate royalties continuously as music is consumed over a long period, not just when it becomes popular at a particular point in time. In particular, it is significant that songs from various generations continue to generate revenue through multiple channels, including streaming and performances.”
