'Harrington Place Mullae' to Supply 218 Units in November

[Financial News] A newly built 218-unit apartment complex, with all units offering 84 square meters of exclusive floor area, will be supplied next month in Mullae-dong 3-ga, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul.
Hyosung Heavy Industries said on the 21st that it plans to launch sales of Harrington Place Mullae in November. The complex will be built on and around Lot 27-1 in Mullae-dong 3-ga, with three basement levels and up to 29 floors above ground. It will offer a single floor-area option of 84 square meters in three types. Type A will account for the largest share, with 110 units, while Types B and C will have 54 units each. The complex will also include neighborhood retail facilities.
The design incorporates signature features of Harrington Place, which was recognized in the Brand Apartment category of the Customer Love Brand Awards for 2022–2026. Most of the buildings will face south, and, with a few exceptions, the complex will mainly use four-bay, slab-style layouts to allow ample sunlight and ventilation. Walk-in closets, powder rooms and entryway pantries will provide more storage. Amenities will include a fitness center, a group exercise studio and a screen golf facility, along with a kids’ station, a senior center, residents’ sports facilities, a children’s playground and a daycare center.
Transportation is considered the complex’s biggest strength. In addition to Mullae Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, Yeongdeungpo Station, served by Line 1 and KTX, Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station, where Lines 2 and 5 connect, and Yeongdeungpo Market Station on Line 5 are all within walking distance. By car, access to Gyeongin-ro, the Seobu Expressway and Olympic-daero is easy. Commuting to the Yeouido business district as well as Guro and Gasan Digital Complex is convenient, making the location attractive for its proximity between home and work.
Mullae Elementary School and Yanghwa Middle School are within walking distance, and the complex is also close to the academy district in Mullae-dong 3-ga. The academy district in Mokdong is also easy to reach. Times Square is within walking distance, and major retail facilities including Shinsegae Department Store and Emart are clustered nearby. Yeongdeungpo Fruit and Vegetable Market and Mullae Creative Village, which formed as artists gathered there organically, are also close by. Mullae-dong Flower Garden and Mullae Neighborhood Park are nearby, and a small park connected to the complex is also planned.
Development in the surrounding area is also picking up pace. The Mullae-dong Urban Environment Improvement Project, redevelopment around Daesun Flour Mills and the Yeongdeungpo Redevelopment Promotion District project are underway, raising expectations that the residential environment in the area will improve further once they are completed.
A sales representative said, “Harrington Place Mullae is drawing attention for its rarity as a new apartment complex in a prime urban location amid a decline in new apartment supply in Seoul,” adding, “It combines access to four rail lines, proximity to a major shopping mall and convenient commutes. With all units offering an exclusive area of 84 square meters, it is expected to be popular with end-user buyers.”
