[Financial News] The Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority announced on the 21st that it signed a public-private partnership agreement with Samjong Accounting Corporation on the 20th at the Gangnam Finance Center in Seoul to establish “BJ-INVESTIA,” a comprehensive investment promotion ecosystem.
BJ-INVESTIA is a comprehensive investment promotion ecosystem that connects six key areas—site selection and design; investment and establishment; finance and incentives; customs clearance, logistics and trade; workforce and settlement; and innovative growth—through public-private cooperation to support foreign companies investing in the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone.
The agreement was designed to address the diverse need for professional advice that investing companies face, from considering an investment through operating a business, and to strengthen the corporate support system by drawing on private-sector expertise in accounting and consulting.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will establish a framework for cooperation to connect foreign companies and tenant companies in the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone with the professional advice and consulting they need throughout the investment process, including investment and establishment, and finance and incentives.
The authority will identify and manage investing companies’ advisory needs and challenges, and coordinate connections between Samjong Accounting Corporation and companies for professional consultations and advice.
Samjong Accounting Corporation plans to cooperate in providing the professional advice and consulting needed to suit each company’s investment plans and business characteristics.
Park Seong-ho, head of the authority, said, “Through this agreement, we will connect Samjong Accounting Corporation’s expertise with support for investing companies and continue to strengthen public-private cooperation so that companies can effectively resolve the difficulties they face during the investment process.”
