[Financial News] Hecto Healthcare has expanded its presence in recreational sports by giving marathon finishers the opportunity to try its health supplements.
Hecto Healthcare said on the 21st that it provided each finisher with a five-sachet sample pack of its O2 Booster Fresh, along with snacks, at the 2026 Jeongseon Donggang Marathon held on the 17th.
First held last year, the Jeongseon Donggang Marathon took place around the Donggang River, with the Jeongseon Ecological Experience Learning Center in Jeongseon County, Gangwon State, serving as its base. This year’s event featured a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km races, as well as a couple run and a family run. Applications exceeded the initial target of 2,000 participants.
O2 Booster is a product line Hecto Healthcare introduced after its premium probiotic brand, De Simone. It uses the probiotic complex SLAB51 as an ingredient, and O2 Booster Fresh contains fine powder in stick packs that can be taken with water.
After donating O2 Booster worth 108 million won to the Jincheon National Training Center last year, Hecto Healthcare also supported this event with its products. The company has thus broadened its support to recreational sports events attended by ordinary consumers, as well as national team athletes.
Hecto Healthcare CEO Kim Seok-jin said, “We provided the products to show our support for runners who pursued their goals and completed the race. We will connect with people in a range of settings and support healthy lifestyles, from national team athletes to recreational sports enthusiasts who enjoy exercising in their daily lives.”
