[Financial News] Qualcomm will showcase domestic startup technologies and examples of industrial applications in artificial intelligence (AI) and automation all in one place.
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. said on the 21st that it will participate in Industry AI Expo 2026 and introduce innovative technologies developed by Korean startups using Qualcomm platforms, along with examples of collaboration in industrial AI and automation.
The exhibition hall will feature a 'QAIPI Pavilion' for companies participating in the Qualcomm AI Innovator Program (QAIPI).
Six startups will participate in the QAIPI Pavilion: Enerzai, Withrobot, Undermilli, Qlika and Flad Labs, selected for this year's program, and Sagak, selected last year. Five companies that are partners in the industrial and embedded Internet of Things (IoT) sectors—ICbanQ, Sapphire Stream Technology Korea, AccessLab, MathWorks and Osco—will also exhibit.
Launched in 2025, the QAIPI Asia-Pacific program supports startups in developing scalable AI applications using Qualcomm platforms. With technical resources, training and mentoring from Qualcomm AI Hub, participating companies can develop AI use cases in mobile, computing and IoT.
The Qualcomm Robotics Zone, operated by Osco, will showcase a quadruped robot from Rainbow Robotics equipped with the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075. An autonomous mobile robot (AMR) from SL, equipped with the Arduino Ventuno Q, will also be on display.
Kim Sang-pyo, president of Qualcomm Korea, said, "As AI spreads across industries, the ability to apply innovative technologies in real-world environments and commercialize them is becoming increasingly important. This expo is an opportunity for Korean startups participating in QAIPI to showcase their technologies in edge AI and robotics." He added, "We will continue our collaboration to support startups from technology development through commercialization and help Korean companies create growth opportunities in global markets."
Meanwhile, Qualcomm plans to hold the 'QAIPI-APAC 2026 Demo Day' in Tokyo, Japan, on December 2.
