Everland will enter its full-fledged fall foliage season starting this weekend.
Samsung C&T’s Resort Group said on the 21st that fall foliage in and around Everland is expected to peak from the end of this month through early next month.
Everland is home to tens of thousands of trees from around 10 species, including maples, ginkgoes and zelkovas. At Sky Garden Trail, one of the park’s best-known fall foliage spots, visitors can enjoy autumn scenery along a roughly 1-kilometer walking trail. Along the ginkgo path on the Rose Garden loop trail, they can take in leaves turned golden.
Visitors can admire the fall foliage while riding Thunder Falls, a rapid-ride attraction, and the Monimo RUSH roller coaster (formerly T Express), or enjoy the autumn scenery along a roughly 5-kilometer driving route from Maseong Tollgate to the main entrance.
Meanwhile, the “Secret Ginkgo Forest,” located on the foothills of Hyangsu Mountain in nearby Shinwon-ri, will offer fall foliage experience programs for Garden Pass subscribers starting on the 30th.
The roughly 150,000-square-meter forest is home to a grove of some 30,000 ginkgo trees planted in the 1970s as part of a forest restoration effort. Participants can enjoy a range of activities, including trekking through the forest while listening to a professional docent and meditating in the woods while lying in a hammock.
