DL E&C puts Han River views at the heart of Acro Seongsu, from living rooms to sky community spaces

[Financial News] DL E&C has proposed Acro Seongsu, a development specializing in Han River views, for the redevelopment of Seongsu Strategic Redevelopment Zone, District 2 (Seongsu District 2). It is designed to let residents enjoy views of the Han River throughout their homes, with three-sided windows surrounding the living room and river-view community spaces.
According to DL E&C on the 21st, Acro Seongsu is planned to comprise 2,350 homes in nine buildings, with six basement levels and up to 62 above-ground floors. Construction costs are 2.0137 trillion won, and the association plans to vote on the contractor selection at a general meeting on Nov. 21.
The key design concept is “Cinematic Vista.” Three-sided wraparound windows up to 45 meters long will be arranged around the living room to provide a 270-degree panoramic view of the Han River. The windows will feature the “Infinite Frame,” measuring up to 13 meters long and 2.9 meters high.
The 1,186 homes DL E&C has proposed with S-grade Han River views equal 110% of the number of member households. The plan is to reduce the number of residential towers and secure sightlines with view corridors up to 160 meters and high pilotis 15 meters tall. The proposal also includes specialized floor plans such as “Riverview Entry” and “Riverview Bath,” which offer Han River views from the entrance and bathroom, as well as open terraces.
The community spaces are also focused on views of the Han River. The plan is to create eight spaces in total, including the top-floor “Sky Art Dining,” Sky Fitness, Sky Private Gym, Sky Library, Sky Guesthouse, two Sky Pool Villas and an infinity pool.
The proposal also includes a “Private Studio” for each home. Residents can use the space as a winery, cinema, personal training room or for other purposes, according to their preferences.
DL E&C has incorporated its experience in residential projects, including Acro River Park in Banpo-dong and Acro Seoul Forest in Seongsu-dong, into this proposal. According to actual transaction data from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, a 234-square-meter unit at Acro River Park sold for 18 billion won in August 2024, while a 273-square-meter unit at Acro Seoul Forest sold for 29 billion won in June 2025.
In a survey of preferences for high-end apartment brands released in April this year by real estate platform Dabang, Acro received 46.1% of responses and ranked first for the sixth consecutive year.
An official at DL E&C said, “Acro is the standard for high-end housing, combining location, design, brand and asset value. Through Acro Seongsu, which offers the most perfect views of the Han River in the heart of Seongsu, we will set a standard for riverside living that shines even brighter as time goes by.”
