[Financial News] CJ Olive Young Corporation will hold its first external tech conference for talent in the technology sector.
According to industry sources on the 20th, CJ Olive Young Corporation will hold the hands-on tech conference “Define Omni” on the 19th of next month at Anderson C Seongsu, a multipurpose cultural space in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
The event was organized to share the company’s omnichannel technology capabilities linking its stores, online mall and logistics systems, and to communicate directly with tech talent.
At the event, tech department leaders will share challenges they have encountered in the field and their experiences using technology to break down the boundaries between online and offline.
They will also share how stores, the online mall and logistics systems are connected in real time, as well as examples of building a global platform to enter the U.S. market.
Sessions where participants can experience the technology, along with exhibitions and networking spaces, will also be available.
Olive Young operates services linking its stores and online mall, including Today Dream and pickup. More recently, it has been expanding into a global platform by establishing stores and an online mall in the United States.
Since 2020, Olive Young has run its own “Tech Blog,” sharing technologies and problem-solving experiences gained during service development. Through this conference, the company plans to expand its exchange with talent in the technology sector to in-person events and contribute to energizing the tech ecosystem.
An Olive Young representative said, “This conference is an opportunity to share Olive Young’s vision of expanding the customer experience through technology, beyond the traditional retail sector,” adding, “We look forward to strong interest from tech talent who will help build the future of a global omnichannel platform together.”
