He added, “I came to Korea this time on the occasion of the Global AI Digital Summit,” and said, “I also came to meet with the president, the Korean government, and business leaders to discuss the development of industries that can create jobs and mobilize private-sector resources.”
Among those attending from the World Bank Group were Carlos Felipe Jaramillo, vice president for East Asia and the Pacific, and Sarvesh Suri, vice president for Asia and the Pacific at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Also present on the Korean side were Lee Hyoung-il, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, Chief of Staff Lim Kwang-hyun, and Policy Chief Ha Joon-kyung.
